The Connecticut State Capitol Restoration involved every sort of restoration and renovation work. Restoration work included historic research and site investigation, ornamental paint, flat and ornamental plaster, architectural woodwork, furniture, stained and painted glass, stone cleaning and carving, monumental wood windows, pottery, metalwork both cast bronze and wrought iron, axminster carpet, ornamental lighting, and sculpture in several media.
